Motor Yacht - April Fool - 61 m - Feadship - 2006
Motor Yacht April FoolLaunched from the The Feadship Royal Van Lent Shipyard shipyard in the Netherlands. Her interior design illustrates the insight of owner and Janet Leroy Based On A Concept of Larvor. Her old, former or build project names are (Project Lioness). She can attain a maximum speed of 16 knots.

She features a four deck elevator and a custom electric awning on her main sun deck. A full beam owner's suite compliments four further spacious staterooms and fine quarters for up to eighteen crew.

The motor yacht superstructure is fabricated mostly with aluminium. She had refit improvement and alteration work undertaken in 2009.

The 3516B DITA engine powering the yacht is produced by Caterpillatr. Connected to her Caterpillar engine(s) are twin screw propellers (wartsila). The main engine of the ship gives 1999 horse power (or 1492 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The sum power for the yacht is 3999 HP / 2984 KW.

April Fool’s owners wanted to be able to enjoy themselves without any hassle. With Feadship most details - big and small - are considered and solved in the design and engineering phase. For April Fool, for example, mock-ups were made of a guest cabin and the various options for the sun deck shading. It is great for owners to be able to take for granted that their yacht will be faultless.
