Motor Yacht - Dilbar - 110 m - Lurssen - 2008
Originally code named Project Opal, this megayacht was delivered from its German shipyard and naval architect Lürssen six weeks ahead of schedule and touted as a ‘green engine concept’. Owned by Russian entrepreneur Alisher Usmanov, who named the sleek megayacht after his mother, Dilbar is the first yacht in the world with a particle filter on the main engine exhausts.

Dilbar is promoted by Lürssen as the ‘green engine concept’ whose aim is to significantly reduce emissions with a highly efficient diesel-mechanical and diesel-electric propulsion system. She is the world’s first yacht to have particle filters fitted to the main engine exhausts as well as to her generating sets. Built to the rules of Germanischer Lloyd.
